Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on Parade live at the Tibetan Freedom Concert '96

I remember going to this two day show at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with my future (and current) wife along with many friends. The concert had a total attendance of over 100,000 people and raised around $800,000 for Tibet and the Milarepa Fund. The complete band line up was The Smashing Pumpkins, Richie Havens, Cibo Matto, Beck, Chaksam-pa, Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Yoko Ono, Pavement, Biz Markie, John Lee Hooker, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Björk, De La Soul, Fugees, Buddy Guy, The Skatalites, No Doubt and Sonic Youth. They had similar concerts at Downing Stadium, Randall's Island in New York city and RFK Stadium in Washington D.C.

Ever wonder why the Pro Bowl is played a week before the Super Bowl?

2012 NFL Pro Bowl

I guess the NFL felt the need to have a game showcasing all of the best players in the NFL whose teams weren't good enough to make the Super Bowl. I have never attended a meaningless Pro Bowl game or felt the desire to do so. The Final score had the AFC beating the NFC by a score of 59 - 41. This means the AFC players can have their butlers (from their mansions) prank call the NFC players and say, " We owned you bitch". If there was an equivalent game in college football played a week before the final bowl games. I wouldn't watch that one either.

These are some pretty good seats though...
